My List of {SysAdmin | Programmer | Help Desk | Support | Techie} Rules
- Don't assume. Don't assume that it works, that they did it right, or that the users will figure it out. Don't assume that a {vendor | programmer | developer | co-worker | boss | whoever else} can do their job.
- If you ever find yourself saying "they couldn't have done that, they'd have to be morons."... they did and they are.
- When you find something that isn't documented, it's the ghost of that one little thing that you didn't document, come back to haunt you.
